January highlights

 

Halle started classes at Mountainland Technical College on January 7th! She is training to become an EMT! She is always offering to take our blood pressure at home. I love that she has found a career that she is passionate about. I'm excited for her!

We didn't have any snow the beginning of January.  On January 16th it felt like a spring day. Ollie had the best time chasing the frisbee around the yard. 

On January 19th we were going through clothes that the kids had grown out of. We found these Star Wars pj's of Hayden's. The kids put them on Ollie. He is a good sport to let them dress him up all the time. 

Kev took Addy to the BYU basketball game on Saturday January 25th. They enjoyed hanging out together and BYU won that night!

I had a girls night out with Halle and Addy on Friday January 31st! We went to Olive Garden for dinner, then went shopping at Ulta, and went home to watch a chick flick. I love spending time with my girls!

Senior Ball

 

Halle had her Senior Ball on Saturday January 25th! She looked beautiful in her red dress! She went to the dance with her boyfriend Andrew. It was nice to talk with him while I took their pictures. 

Ollie even joined them for a picture. Andrew also has a dog named Voodoo. 

Jessie took their dance pictures in her backyard. It was fun that her best friends Sienna and Madi were in her group!

I can't believe how grown up these beautiful girls are!

They went to dinner at Chik-Fil-a. Then the dance was at a venue in Provo. 

Cassie's baptism

 

Cassie was baptized on Saturday January 25th! We loved being there. Cassie literally ran to the baptismal font. 

We had rice crispy treats after the baptism. Logan looked adorable in his suit. 

Grandpa Ken played his baptismal medley on the piano. He has done that for all of the grandkids. 

The kids had fun playing with the magnatiles and card games. 

Dan made pulled pork sandwiches and mac and cheese for lunch. Dans mom, Gloria, was also visiting from Texas. I enjoyed talking with her. 

One of Heather's friends has been boarding our horse this winter. I have never seen Aspen with her winter hair growth. 

Heather brought candy canes for us to feed her. She said she loves peppermint. She was sniffing my phone when I took this picture. 

Addy had fun walking her around and Kev brushed her fur. We didn't stay long because it was snowy and cold. Heather and her kids usually go visit her about once a week. Heather's friend has mentioned that she is such a good horse and they want to keep her. Kev and I both agree that we don't want to give her up. 

All about Ollie

 

On January 13th it marked one year since we brought home Ollie! We can't believe how much he has grown in the last year. Halle put her glasses on him and took a .5 picture. He is one cool dog!

He loves being outside on our back deck. I'm sure he would stay outside all day if we let him. 

This is his puppy eyes look. I was busy on the computer and he wanted some attention. I posted this picture of him on Instagram. Hillary commented on how she cant get over how much he looks like his mom, Pearl. 

Ollie hangs out with Addy every morning before she leaves for school. We cant imagine our family without Ollie in it!
