Sheep Creek Snowmobile Ride

A week ago this past Saturday I had the chance to go snowmobiling with my Manager from ATK and some of his family. We started in Spanish Fork Canyon at the Sheep Creek gas station and rode about 70 miles. It was AWESOME! Fresh powder and unlimited places to ride I took out 600 ZRT that we have long tracked. I was glad I was with people who knew the area. About 3 weeks earlier Dave, my boss, and his group came across two guys that spent the night out there during a blizzard who were about frozen to death. No joke. Each suffered extreme frost bite and hypotherma and Dave was told that had they not come across them and helped warm them up when they did they definitely would have died out there. Anyway we rode all over the mountain south of Strawberry Res. and then over to Willow Creek Ranger station and back. SO MUCH FUN!

Halle is almost one!

Our little Halle is eleven months now! We are so excited to celebrate her first birthday in about a week. It is amazing how much she has grown. She loves to get into mischief. She loves to open the kitchen drawer and take out all the ziploc bags and get all the DVDs off the shelf. She loves to stand now! She pulls herself up on all the furniture. When she sees a toy she wants she will pull herself up on her toes and reach to get it. She has so much fun with her brother and sister. She is always chasing them around the house and loves joining in the fun. It is so great to hear her laugh and watch her play. She claps her hands when she gets excited, points to show us things, babbles in her own language, and makes kissing noises. We love our Halle girl!

Valentines Day!

We had a really fun Valentines day! Kev and I were able to go on a date with just the two of us. We went to dinner at a Restraunt called La Vignia. They serve Italian food. Everything was delicious! It was great because this year we had reservations. We just walked right in and ate. In years past we have waited almost three hours just to get into a restraunt. It wasn't as crowded in American Fork as it usually is in Provo. We went and saw the movie National Treasure two. We both loved it! It really made me want to visit Mt Rushmore. We were so glad to have Uncle Spencer watch the kids for us. They always love having him come to visit. He even cooked dinner and changed diapers. It was fun because he helped the kids make a Valentines suprise for us. When we got home our bedroom door was decorated with hearts. It is great when you can pay your babysitter with Hershey Kisses!

I'm a V.I.P.!!!

This week Mckenna was the V.I.P. in her Kindergarten class. We made a poster with pictures of her and things she likes to do. It was really fun looking through all her baby pictures and seeing how much she has grown up. Yesterday, I went to her class to tell them a little more about Mckenna. It was so much fun! We taught her class how to play Heads up seven up. Some of you might remember that game from when you were in elementary school. Then I read the book "Horton hatches the egg" to her class. It is Mckennas favorite book. It was cool because her teacher asked instead of bringing treats to bring a copy of Kennas favorite book to donate to the class. We are so glad Mckenna is a part of our family!

unbelievable snow!!

We went to the cabin this weekend with our friends the Trumans. When we got to the cabin we couldn't believe how much snow there was! I have never seen snow like this in the past seven years that I have been going up there. We had so much fun snowmobiling in all the powder. The snow plow had made a huge mountain of snow by the cabin. We carved a snow tunnel for the kids to play in. It was such a beautiful day! The sun was out and the sky was so blue.
