Addy's graduation

Addy graduated from Kindergarten on Tuesday May 29th.  She looked so cute all dressed up in her Sunday best!

We didn't have the best seats so it was hard to see. We always enjoy listening to Addy sing.

Addy loved having Mrs. Beckham as her Kindergarten teacher.  She improved a lot this year in both reading and math.  She also made several new friends.  Her besties this year are Rylee and Stella.

My Dad and Loni came to her graduation.  They brought her these darling flowers which she loved.  

Kev worked from home that morning so he could be there.  Mckenna was also able to come since she was done with school for the year.

Addy is the last of our kids to graduate from Kindergarten.  I know that she is ready for first grade in the Fall.  She can't wait to go to school all day and also get to eat lunch there.

We went to Scheels after to buy a bike for Kev.  Addy had fun riding the ferris wheel with me. We love our Addy!

Memorial day

Grandpa and I went up to the cemetery on my Mom's birthday May 26th.  She would have been 59 years old.  I have been missing my Mom a lot this year.  I am the same age she was when she passed away.

I brought up some ferns and baby's breath to decorate around her headstone.  Grandpa and I sat in the shade of big tree and talked for awhile. He shared some stories about my Mom when she was a child.  We also talked about some of our past memorial days.  I am glad we were able to be up there together.

On Memorial day we made our visits to the cemeteries.  The kids always like when we stop at Larkin and they get their free pop.

My Dad talked about my Great Uncle Wright.  He even brought a picture of him wearing his pilot uniform.

I thought it was funny how my niece Hailey was standing on her head most of the day.

We had lunch at Olive Garden.  I ordered manicotti with a meatball.  It was the biggest meatball I had ever seen! It took me a couple days to eat it.  It was fun hanging out with my cute cousin Kate.

My cousin Wright recently bought this fancy van for his family.  He let us all come inside and check it out.  It even has it's own bathroom and sink.

Grandma wasn't feeling up to coming to the graves with us this year.  We stopped by after lunch to spend some time with her.  I love my Grandma!

Our last stop was to the cemetery in Sandy.  We met Ken and Sue there.  It was nice to reminisce about Grandpa and Grandma Foster.

Our 17th anniversary

Kevin and I celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary on Friday May 18th.  It happened to be his off Friday from work.  We were able to getaway for the weekend.  We stopped in Springville to have lunch at Magelbys.

 It had been a long time since we had eaten there.  Kev tried the Salmon.

I ordered the halibut.  They even brought us out their famous chocolate layer cake for free since it was our anniversary.

We drove down to Manti for the rest of the weekend.  We stayed at a bed and breakfast called the Yardley Inn.  The staff was friendly and we enjoyed the breakfast the next morning.

We went for a walk around the temple grounds that night.

We were able to watch the sunset.  It is always nice to be back at the temple where we got married.

The next morning we went and did some sealings together.  It brought back great memories of our own wedding day.  We even got asked if we were the bride and groom.  Kev quickly replied, "we were 17 years ago!"  I love my husband!

Spencer + Megan

Spencer and Megan were married on Tuesday May 15th!  It was a beautiful day!  This was our view as we were walking to the temple that morning.

Mckenna watched all the cousins while we were in the sealing.  They had this nice room for them to color and watch church movies.  

It was cute to see Hayden tickling his baby cousin Cassidy.

The cousins had a great time together all day.  Halle helped take care of both Bailey and Casssidy. She loves her cousins! While we were outside a group of Asians came up and wanted to take pictures with Addy.  Addy just went along with it.  It was hilarious!  I guess Addy is famous now.

The happy bride and groom.  We were grateful to be there for the sealing.  The sealer knew both Grandpa and Grandma Grant.  He said that they used to come to sealings every Tuesday morning.  He said that it was only fitting that they were there for their Grandchild's sealing on that very morning.  It was a beautiful experience to all be in the temple together. When I gave Spence a hug I told him that he is all grown up now.  I have known Spence since he was seven years old.

It is nice that are kids are getting older and cooperate for pictures now.

Mckenna wanted a picture with just Spence and Megan. She shared an Instagram post that day saying, "Two of my favorite human beings in the world got married today!!! They are so freaking cute and I love them so much! Congratulations!"  

They had their reception that night at Le Jardin in Sandy.  It was a beautiful location.  I loved all the flowers, plants, and decorations.  Grandma Sue was happy to spend some time with her grandkids.

We were so happy that Cody, Kamille, and the cousins were able to make it to the reception.  Aubrey was feeling sick that day.  It made Spence so happy to have them there.  Aubrey looks so much like her Mom.  It was comforting to have her there.  We were all missing Lisa that day.

It was fun to have all the Foster cousins together again.  There are 16 grandchildren now.  Heather is due with the 17th grandchild in July.

Megan and Spence having their first dance as a married couple.  They danced to the song "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran.  They are a beautiful couple!  We are so happy that they have found each other.  Megan is a perfect addition to the family.  It brings us happiness to see how in love they are!
