BYU football game

 

We went to the BYU football game on Saturday November 30th! It was fun meeting up with Cody, Kristin, and Aubrey! It was also Cody's birthday as well. 

He took us over to see the Cougar Club pre game activities. We got cider, donuts, and some swag. I'm happy that Halle got to hang out with her cousin Aubrey. They are both beautiful and I can't  believe they are Seniors this year!

It was great being at Lavell Edwards Stadium. We hadn't been to a football game in many years. 

I loved seeing the Y all lit up on the mountain. We played Houston that night and won! We are now ranked 10-2. 

Parker came over and hung out with us during half time. Kev got us hot chocolate, a pretzel, and a cougar tail. 

It was cool seeing them shoot off fireworks during the game. 

Parker even caught this football over in the student section. It was fun that his friends Brodey, and Ryker were there with him. 

It was cold that night. I brought some handwarmers to keep us warm. There was a cannon that shot out fake money every time that we scored. Halle was fanning herself with money after the game. It was a fun night out for our family!

Thanksgiving

 

We hosted Thanksgiving for the Foster side of the family at our house. I was grateful to have Addy's help with some of the food prep. 

It was fun having everyone come to our home. 

Kev cooked and carved a delicious turkey. 

It was good to have Parker home with us for the day! We were missing Kenna and Bryson who were celebrating in Steamboat Colorado. 

There was plenty of food for all of us. I was good with having extra food. Thanksgiving leftovers are my favorite!

I love this picture of the family.  We had to have three tables to fit everyone at. 

They had fun throwing Ayla up in the air on a blanket. This was one of our kids favorite things to do when they were little. 

I enjoyed getting to hold Milo. He is getting so big now! As he crawled around our home we realized that it is not childproof. 

Cassie loved when Halle did her hair for her. 

Grandpa Ken and Bailey were playing the piano together. 

Some of the girls went out and used the hot tub. It was such a nice day and not that cold. 

The cousins had fun playing the switch together. I spy Grandpa taking a quick nap in the chair. 

That night we went and saw Moana 2 at The District. We had an extra ticket and Ryker was able to come with us! 

Ollie's 1st birthday

 

We celebrated Ollie's first birthday on Sunday November 17th! He looked handsome in his neckerchief and party hat. 

Addy had fun getting him to jump in the air for treats. 

He also knows how give high fives. 

He looked so happy standing in this picture. 

Halle made him a pupcake. She was letting him lick the banana as she made it. 

We got him some presents for his birthday. 

He loved the sock monkey best of all. 

He got big hugs from Parker before he went back to his apartment. I love that he has his paw on Parker's shoulder. 

We lit a candle for him and Addy blew it out. He loved his pupcake and gobbled it up. It was made with flour, peanut butter, honey, and bananas. 

Ollie officially turned one on Monday November 18th.  He loves hanging out in the new dog bed that we gave him. 

We drove to Halle's work to get him a pup cup. He was so happy to see Halle! We love Ollie! He is an answer to prayers and has brought happiness to our family!

Addy's spa party

 

Addy had a spa party with her friends on Saturday November 16th! I got a balloon kit online and made this garland the night before. 

The first things we did was face masks. They all had different scents. The favorite was Aloe. 

The girls enjoyed all the snacks and treats. We had Addy's favorite snack which is Takis. 

The girls all made their own lip gloss to take home. They could mix their own color, add sparkles, and a scent. 

Addy had fun opening up presents. They had her close her eyes and each of her friends wished he a happy birthday in a funny voice. She had to guess who it was. She surprised us and got every one right. 

We sang to Addy and had donuts. 

The last thing we did was relax in the hot tub. The girls filled balloons with water and had fun dropping them from our deck. I'm happy that Addy has so many great friends in her life!

Gratitude

 

My Dad invited me to go to a BYU basketball game with him! It brought back memories of when he would take me to games when I was young. He bought me a cougar tail and another to take home to the kids. Parker was also able to come and sit with us for the last half hour of the game. 

I'm grateful for this beautiful view of the mountains from my backyard. 

The weather in November was warm and I was able to take Ollie on many walks. 

My rose bush looked beautiful even in November. The secondary water had been shut off for several weeks. Roses always remind me of my grandma Rosen. I miss her!

I hosted Bunco on Thursday November 14th! I ordered all the prizes from the company that Kenna works for. She got me her employee discount. My friends loved all of the prizes. 

Maddi Baker turned 18 years old on November 25th! Her mom put together a drive by birthday surprise. I love that Halle and Maddi have been friends since they were kids! It's crazy to think that Halle will also be 18 in just a few months.
