Lagoon Day!

It was Kevs work day at Lagoon. It was great because we got discounted tickets, free parking, and a meal. We got there at eleven and didn't leave until the park closed at eleven. The kids did really well for being there that long. My sister Teenie came with us. We were so grateful to have her help. The kids loved the new ride called Sea odesy. It is like the Dumbo ride at Disneyworld except with water. The dolphins on the side spray out water as you pass by. Parker flew our fish right into the water and we were soaked. Kev and I tried the new ride called Wicked. It was a long wait but it was worth it. The roller coaster shoots straight up at fifty miles an hour and then straight back down. I had never been on a coaster like that. It was awesome heading straight up into the sky! We had a really fun day together!

Family reunion in Manti!!

We drove down to Manti for the weekend. We had a short family reunion together. It was great having Mike and Amy there with us. Aunty Helen, Beth, & Dane were kind and let us invade their house for a couple of days.

Uncle Mike playing peek a boo with Halle. Halle loved having him around. My brother Mike is going to be such a good Daddy. Amy and Mike are going to have twins in December! We are so excited to have another niece and nephew!(Mike told me that they are trying to catch up to us!)

The kids chillin at the Manti pageant. I sat on the blanket with them for most of the show. They were making the greatest comments. Mckennas favorite part was when Moroni is standing on top of the temple spire. Parker loved the part when Jesus came to visit the little children.

Kev and I at the pageant! I love going to the pageant. It means even more because it is the temple where we got married. When we drove into Manti Mckenna said, "look Mom and Dad it's your temple!"

Parker and Jacob were exhausted after the pageant! It was nice having a place to stay for the night only two blocks away. It was crazy becauses five of the kids camped out in one room.

Can you guess how old Mckenna turned today? All day long when I took her picture she would hold up six fingers. It was cute!

Mckenna with her great grandparents. We were so glad that almost all of them were able to be there for her party. We have been blessed with so much family!

I made her a cake that looked like a purse this year. She really loves purses. She is quite the collector and has more purses than I do. I really should count them one of these days. The new fav is a tinkerbell purse that Grandpa gave her.

Kev's Birthday!

Kev had his birthday on Tuesday of this week. He turned the big 29! I tease him about being old but in our neighborhood he is considered a "young pup". I had to include this picture of Kev with the kids on fathers day. They made him this giant tie and he even wore it to church!

The kids couldn't wait for Kev to open all his presents!

We gave Kev an air compresssor for his birthday. Check out the smile on his face!

We invited some neighbors over to have cake and homemade ice cream with us. We just set it up in our frontyard and everyone came and joined us!

We live in such a great neighborhood! Everyone is really friendly. Now that its summer everyone gathers on our street outside to talk.

The little boys in the neighborhood love to play in the dirt. We have a whole backyard full of it for them to dig in!

Our ballerina!

Tonight was Mckennas first dance performance! It was so much fun to see her dancing up on stage. She did a really good job! Mckenna started taking ballet about five months ago. She takes once a week. The name of the studio is Innovations. It was such a proud moment to see her perform. She danced to the music "True loves kiss". It is a song from the Disney movie Enchanted. I used to take ballet and loved it! It is so much fun to see my daughter learning to dance!

Mckennas party!!

Mckenna had ten of her friends over for an early birthday party. Mckenna will be six in one week. We had a lot of fun at the party and all the girls were just bursting with energy!(We made the mistake of giving them party blowers at the very beginning. They were blowing them the whole time! At one point they ganged up on Kev and were blowing them in his face.)

We played a different version of duck, duck, goose. We played it with the stuffed animals they brought to the party. The girls couldn't get enough of this game. They all wanted a turn being "It".

Summer is here!!

We celebrated my little sister Kayleys birthday on Monday. She had a Luau for her party. The weather was perfect. We loved swimming in my Dads pool. There were so many water toys for everyone to play with. The food was awesome! We had Kalua pig, rice, macaroni salad, and chicken kabobbs. There was plenty of fresh fruit. I love fresh pineapple. We had such a fun time with all the family. It was almost as good as being in Hawaii!
