Yeahhh for the weekend!!!

On Saturday night we went to dinner at Rock Creek Pizza Co. in Sandy. Kev used to work there in high school and now his little brother Spencer works there. It was actually Spencer's day off but he made our dinner for us. The kids really enjoyed watching their Uncle make our pizza. It was also great to tease and embarrass Spencer.

The pizza tasted great and it was all thanks to Spencer. We had the barbecue chicken pizza which is my favorite! Spencer also surprised us with a cinnamon and sugar dessert pizza. We left the restaurant full and happy.

We then headed up to Midway to celebrate our nephew Cole's 2nd birthday. Hayden and Cole had fun running around the house together. Cole was great about sharing his new toys with everyone.

We also went to see the ice castles in Midway. My sister-in-law got us in for free with her family pass. They were impressive to see up close. The same guy makes the castles every year.

Halle looked so small as she walked through this one. It was cool how they have lights inside of the ice.

The kids had fun being there with their Grandma Sue. We got them to hold still for at least one picture.

I spent most of the time running after Mckenna and Aubrey. They both had a lot of energy that they needed to get out. They were pretending that Tucker was a snow monster that they had to stay away from. It was a fun day with the family!

My new addiction...

I confess that I am addicted to the Wii. We got one for Christmas. Kev was a lot more excited than I was about getting one. I didn't realize how hooked I would become. It was Mario brothers that did the trick. I used to play it on our old school Nintendo back in the day. My friend Jan came over and we had the best time playing. I play all the time now. I just have to pass the next level. Kev and I stay up late playing so we can get to the next world. Tonight Mckenna and I passed world 6 and moved onto world 7. Just one more world until we conquer the game.

I don't think I am the only one who can't get enough. Parker and his friend Drake were having a fun time. The great thing about the Wii is that our whole family can play and have fun. It was funny because I overheard Parker talking with his friends the other day about how his Mom was the best at Mario brothers.

Winter wonderland!!

We went up to the cabin for a few days after Christmas! It was great to have so much snow to play in. We had a fun time hanging out with all the family that was there this year. We took a family snowmobile picture. We try and take one of these every year. We used to be able to fit on one and now we barely fit on two.

Hayden loved playing in the snow this year. I thought this picture was funny of him standing there like a little man. He looks so small compared to his Daddy and Uncle.

We took some cute pictures of the kids. I realized that I don't take enough of all four of them together so we are going to have to change that.

It is hard getting all of them to look the same direction and smile. I was happy how these turned out. They always have fun playing in the snow.

We were glad to have Grandpa Foster with us this year. It had been awhile since he came up with us. It is thanks to him that we have a wonderful cabin to spend time at. He is in his eighties and still looks great behind a snowmobile.

We snowmobiled up to Mud flat lake this year. On the way we saw this dogsled team. They were up there training for the day. Alaskan huskies are my favorite type of dog.

It was nice being able to go snowmobiling with Kev. He loves the rush of driving and I enjoy looking at the beautiful scenery.

Kev drops me off so he can get some air time. You can see the skis coming off the ground. We did hit a jump when we were riding together. He went up into the air and I slid forward on the snowmobile. When he came back down he was on my lap. We had a good laugh about it.

I took this picture from the snowmobile that I was riding. Parker and I were coming up the hill when we came upon this beautiful scene. I love it when the sun is shining and reflecting off the snow.

Kev pulled the kids around on their sleds. The cousins were having a great time together. They got along really well the whole time we were up there.

It was beautiful the night that we drove home. I took this picture of deer creek as we were heading down Provo canyon.
