Clark Planetarium

The company Kev works for had a free day at the Clark Planetarium. It was our first time there! We learned a lot and it was still fun for the kids too.

They had a special showing of a 3-D movie called the Space station. We got to watch the shuttles blast off from the earth. It was like we were right there with them. It is amazing how much technology and work go into designing the space aircraft.

The kids were mesmerized by this display. It is called Newtons Daydream. The balls move along a system of track by pulleys. It was about forty feet tall. You can see it from both levels of the planetarium.

The kids and I are on Mars. They had meteorite rocks that we could look at and feel.

Easter Sunday!

We had a really fun Easter Sunday. We went up to my Grandma Smoots house. We have the traditional Easter egg hunt with all the great-grandchildren. I think this year there were almost one hundred eggs to find. The kids always love it! The great-grandchildren are all girls except Parker and my cousins boy Wright Jr. The girls all looked so cute dressed up for Easter. We had a delicious dinner that included "funeral potatoes"! We just cant' get enough of those. It is always fun to see Grandparents and hang out with my cousins! We had a wonderful day!

Our new car!!!

We are so excited to have a new car! We bought an 05 Nissan Pathfinder. It is the SE model that seats seven. It has so many nice feautures! We keep finding new ones each day. Kev is always so pumped to show me the latest discovery. The best part is that it fits are growing family. All three kids have been squashed into the back of the Honda for a long time. It was so tight I would have to move Kennas seat to get everyone in and then slam the door to get her seat to move over. It is great being a two car family now. Kev has been borowing Grandpa Fosters truck since he started his new job in August. Thank you Grandpa Foster for sharing your truck with us! Kev is so excited to have a SUV again. We can now go on adventures like we used to in the Rodeo and tow all the toys!

Disney Princesses on ice!

We went with our friends Brenda and Annie to the show. The girls got all dressed up as princesses. They both were dressed up as Cinderella. The show was a lot of fun! I was impressed by all the different sets that they had. The little Mermaid one was really cool. The special effects that they had for Sleeping Beauty were cool. They had a huge firebreathing dragon and they lit the ice on fire. The girls were so excited to see Cinderella. They saved the best for last. Mckenna and Annie stood up and were dancing when she came out. After the show the lady behind us told me what how cute she thought our girls were She said she enjoyed watching them almost as much as the show. On they way out we saw Mckennas friend Rachel. She was one of Mckennas best friends when we lived in Springville.

Beautiful Reagan a little over a week old

Yesterday was such a fun day! My two favorite people are in town for Spring break! Teenie and I went to Stephs baby shower. I am so excited that my cousin Steph is having a baby. She is due August 21st and is having a baby boy. We had such a good time at the shower. The food was great and we played some fun games. I was so excited because Danielle showed up with baby Reagan. She is such a sweet little baby! I couldn't believe how small she was. I always forget how small and precious they are until I see a little newborn!

Road Trip!

Mckenna and Parker love to play in our unfinished basement. Today they decided to draw their own road with sidewalk chalk. Mckenna drew all kinds of roads that forked off the main one. They drove around on their bikes having the greatest time. They can't wait for Dad to come home and see the new road!

Halles first birthday!!

Today Halle turned one year old! We had such a fun day with her. We celebrated that evening at our house. Six of Halles great grandparents were able to come. Halle couldn't wait to open her presents. We caught her trying to open them before everyone got there. She loved ripping the wrapping paper. She enjoyed eating her cake and making a mess of it. I think this is the typical highlight of a one year old birthday party. We love our little Halle!
