Thanksgiving

 

We had Thanksgiving dinner at Grandma Sue and Grandpa Ken's house. We were happy that the Pelfrey's came from Washington and were here to celebrate with us!

I made the sweet potatoes and stuffing this year. Kenna even messaged me and asked for the sweet potato recipe. She made some for a dinner she went to in England. We were thankful to talk with her that day! She also got to talk to her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

Everyone couldn't get enough of cute baby Ayla. 

I even had a chance to hold her. I can't believe she is going to be one in a couple of months. 

We had some time to just chill and relax after dinner. I love to see my boys hanging out together. 

Heather's kids had these fun turkey and pilgrim hats. They even put on a show for us. We have the cutest nieces and nephews!

Count your blessings

 

I love that in the month of November we focus on what we are grateful for.  At the top of our list is our weekly Facetime calls with Sister Foster. This picture was taken of all of us and is the closest thing we have to a family picture right now. Our family is one of my greatest blessings!

Addy had her 5th grade was museum on Thursday November 3rd. She did her report on Louisa May Alcott. She worked hard on this project. She looked cute all dressed up that night. She is the last of our five kids to participate in a wax museum. 

I hosted Bunco at our house on Thursday November 10th. I always have fun hanging out with these awesome women from my neighborhood! Halle got to help sub that night. It was her first time playing. She even tied for the most buncos. 

I'm grateful that we started finishing our basement! We hired men to come do the framing, hvac, and plumbing. Kev is working on the electrical right now. It is exciting to see the progress!

Parker and I went to the BYU basketball game on Saturday November 19th! We had fun cheering for the cougars and eating a cougar tail. Parker has applied to BYU for college. We find out in February if he got in. 

Kev and I went to visit my brother Greg on Sunday November 27th. We picked him up and drove to the temple. It was a really nice day so we got out and walked around. Greg kept stepping on the leaves to hear them crunch. We then listened to Christmas music as we drove around and looked at everyone's house decorations. Greg even sang along to some songs with me. I love my brother!

Mountain biking awards

 

The boys had their Mountain biking banquet on Thursday November 3rd. They both had another awesome season and I'm proud of them! 

Hayden was called up to receive his plaque for being on the 8th grade Junior Devo team this year. 

These are all the Seniors in the program this year. They all received an award. It is a mountain biking figure made out of metal on a polished rock. 

We watched a video of all the highlights from this years practices and races. 

Parker's four years of racing have come to a close. We are proud of all he has learned and the experiences he has had! I'm sure he will continue to mountain bike for fun.
