Daddy Daughter Date!!!

Mckenna and Kev went on their first daddy/daughter date over the weekend. It was a fun night at the church. Mckenna was looking forward to it all week!

I really liked this picture of the two of them. They are smiling even bigger with those funny glasses on. They played a relay game where the Dad's had to paint their nails, fix a ponytail, and tie a ribbon. The girls had to put a necktie on their Dad's. They also had the girls answer questions to see how well they know their Dad's.

They had ice cream sundaes at the end. I am so glad that they got to spend this time together. I can't believe how grown up Mckenna is becoming. She is really happy that she is old enough to go to activity days.

Halle was very excited to get her valentine's ready for her class. It was good practice for her to write her name so many times. She was tinkerbell for the day. She has a different dress up on each day.

Kev and I went out for our Valentine's date on Saturday night. We went to eat at Olive garden which is one of our favorites. It was great because we had a gift card to pay for our dinner. It was nice to just spend some time with each other. We had fun talking about plans and upcoming trips we have to look forward too.

We went miniature golfing at Trafalga after dinner. We had a lot of fun. I hadn't been golfing there since I was a teenager. They have remodeled the place so it is cosmic glow in the dark golfing. Let's just say that Kev had a much better score than I did. I did manage to get a hole in one at the end and won a free game.

On Valentines day I was in charge of Parker's class party. It was fun and all 27 of the kids had a good time. Parker just had to pull a face for the one picture I got with his class. The favorite game of the day was musical hearts. We had the kids walk around on the hearts and freeze when the music stopped. The kid on the lucky heart won a prize.

I got this cute picture of Parker with his teacher. He is really enjoying Kindergarten. She has been such a great teacher. Parker's reading is getting better everyday. Parker's class sang the parents a song at the end of class. They even played the kazoo's for us.

We invited our Grandpa Foster over for dinner that night. It was fun spending some time with just him. Here is a picture of Grandpa with all the kids eating their brownie sundaes. We really made the most of Valentine's day this year!

YOU RIDE YOUR SNOWMOBILE TO THE LOCAL SEVEN ELEVEN!!

We stopped in Kamus to get some gas and saw this interesting sight. We were up in the area to enjoy some snowmobiling with friends.

We try and invite some friends to come up with us at least once during the winter. We invited a bunch of my closest high school friends to come up for the weekend. We had a great time laughing and talking with each other.

We all enjoyed being pulled around on the tube by the snowmobile. Here is a picture of me with all four of my kids piled on top. Kev was taking us off snow mounds and doing 360's.


We came in to warm up by the fire. The kids had a fun time hangin out together too!

Random

I was feeling a little "random" today. I decided to post some pictures that can always make me smile. My cousin Scott ordered ribs when we went out to eat over the holidays. We laughed when the waitress showed up with these. He really needed some meat to go with the bones!

Hayden is always getting into the pots and pans. His favorite thing is to sport this lid as a hat. He looks like a little Scottish man wearing a beret.

Halle looked lovely wearing her new hair extensions from the movie Tangled. It is funny how closely they match her hair color.

I am a huge fan of the movie "Big" with Tom Hanks. So you can imagine my excitement when I randomly found a zoltar machine. It was in Provo of all places. Kev thought I was a little crazy for wanting my picture taken with the machine.

My brother Greg is a child at heart. It cracked us up to see him riding this mini carousel with the rest of the kids. He looks so huge on that tiny horse.

Here is a pic of my Grandparents shouting hip, hip, hooray. We have a little too much fun at our family parties. I hope you enjoyed all this randomness. I thought they were too good not to share.
